Real Estate Researcher & Strategist
Wendy Waters is a real estate researcher and strategist known across the industry for big-picture, data-driven analysis. She began her real estate career at Avison Young after completing a PhD in economic history.
On the Canadian Private Real Estate Podcast, Wendy joined host Justin Smith to discuss whether real estate still works as an inflation hedge, how to measure pent-up housing demand, record rental vacancy and the "filtering" effect, who really pays for development charges, and the demographic shifts — from immigration to retiring baby boomers — that will shape the market for decades.
